Derrytresk and Tattyreagh produced a close and exciting encounter that saw the Hill Men come within a point of snatching a draw. James Darcy top scored for the Tatts who led by three at the break while Eoghan Murray, Joe Cartin’ Kevin Gallagher and Gareth Mimnagh were also among the points for the winners. Cathal O’Neill was in outstanding form for Derrytresk hitting 0-7 with Caolan Corr and Liam Slater also finding the target. Full time score 0-10 to 0-9 in favour of Tattyreagh.

Clogher defeated Drumquin 4-17 to 0-7 after a one sided game. The Eire Ogs hit 0-11 in the first half with Conor Shields (4), Ryan Mc Caughey (3) and Mark Mc Connell (2) doing most of the damage. The Wolfe Tones struggled to create scoring chances during the first period but did improve after the break. However Clogher were in a scoring mood and hit the net four times with Fergal Mc Kenna, Paul Mc Elroy, Jamie Callaghan and Paddy Mc Kiernan all on target. On a disappointing day for Drumquin Frankie Mc Alynn, Paul Sheridan and James O’Kane landed seven second half points for their team.

Newtownstewart were pushed all the way by Killyman before the St Eugene’s edged it by two on a final score of 2-11 to 2-09. Ryan Mayse accounted for 1-6 of his team’s total with his goal coming in the thirtieth minute of the second half. Gary Duffy’s hit Newtown’s first major early in the second half to put the home team in a strong position but Killyman continued to battle hard. A goal deep in injury time for visitors reduced the gap to a single point but Turlough Mc Namee settled the Newtownstewart nerves with a late, late point to seal the win.

Table toppers Owen Roes continued their unbeaten league run with a 3-18 to 0-9 win over Brackaville. Seamus Dooher hit 1-4 while Cathal Mc Shane landed 0-7. Ryan Devine and Conal Mc Cormick both found the net for the winners as the Glenmornan side pulled away to win comfortably. Conor Stock, Dale Mc Sorley, Marty Gervin, Shea Fee, Eoin Loughran and Rian Mc Hugh were all on target for the Brackaville lads.

The derby clash between Errigal Ciaran and Killeeshil saw the Dunmoyle lads emerge 1-9 to 0-8 winners over an improving St Mary’s outfit. Niall Molloy got the all important Errigal goal while Sean Mellon (3), Jody Farrell (2) and Michael Harte (2) were among the points. Pascal Donaghy was the main marksman for Killeeshil with 0-4 while Liam Hughes, veteran Shane Mallon and Ciaran O’Neill accounted for the remaining points.

Dregish found the going tough as Drumragh got their league campaign back on track with a bang. Kevin Mallon, Shane Devine, Shane Cleary, Marty Taggart and Tommy Murphy were among the points while Taggart and Tommy Mullin found the net in a very one sided game. Aidan O’Kane delivered the Dregish scores as Drumragh won 2-16 to 0-3.

Glenelly defeated Fintona 1-11 to 2-6 after an entertaining and competitive game that saw both sides finish the game a few players short. The teams were tied at the break 0-5 apiece with Aaron Mc Carney and Cathal Starrs on target for the Pearses. Eamon Mc Connell hit 1-3 for Glenelly while Seamus Harkin and Ronan O’Kane both hit 0-3 for their side. Mc Carney and Eugene Mc Carroll hit the net for Fintona but they were edged out by the hungrier side in the end.
