It’s a big day of championship football today in under fourteen level as the semi finals in all four grades are down for decision. Most attention will of course be on Grade One where the undoubted top four teams have managed to make it through to the last four. Feile winners Galbally will take on Coalisland at Dungannon with the Fianna fresh from their seven goal defeat of Carrickmore in the league quarter final they will be coming into this match in confident mood. The other semi final is somewhat similar with Dromore having enjoyed a big win over Ardboe in their league quarter final facing a highly fancied Moortown outfit intent on achieving success in the championship to make up for their Feile final loss.

Two of the most impressive sides in Grade Two have been Fintona and Owen Roes but they will face stiff tests of their championship credentials when they take on Pomeroy and Naomh Mhire in their semi final fixtures. The winners of Feile at Grade Two were Tattyreagh and they certainly have not been resting on their laurels as they go in search of a championship and Feile double. Today they face a very determined Stewartstown side who will be hoping to spring a surprise on the favourites. In the other semi final Aghaloo are fancied to account for Kildress but championship football has the potential to throw up the occasional surprise result and it might well happen in this one.

In Grade Four the hot favourites are Drumquin whose size and scoring ability have made them formidable opponents at this level. The Wolfe Tones will be expected to account for Clan na Gael in their semi final while Killeeshil are tipped to overcome Killyclogher B in the other game. Whatever way these matches go Teamtalkmag.com will have results and reports online this afternoon from all the venues.
