Goals proved to be the difference for Gortin as they overcame Naomh Eoghan away from home on Thursday evening. Liam Og Mossey scored two majors as well as a few points with Ciaran Brolly also finding the net and Patrick McCullagh and Ruairi Keenan featuring among the points. Ryan Mayse led the way in the scoring stakes for the hosts with Eamon McGovern and Conall McConomy also on target.

 

Derrylaughan finished strongly to edge past Clogher at the Loughshore. Tomas Carney top scored for the Kevin Barrys with Stephen McGrath and Liam Cushnahan also on target. A Marc Bogue goal had put the visitors in front but they couldn’t hold on, Ciaran Bogue and Ryan McCaughey among the points for the Eire Ogs.

 

Beragh made the trip to Greencastle and ended the home side’s perfect start to season. Conor Owens, Martin Rodgers and Mattie McSorley has points for the Red Knights with Cahir McCullagh, Sean Warnock and Dan McCrory all raising white flags for Greencastle.

 

Moy are another side who tasted defeat for the first time when they lost at Rock. Liam Nugent top scored for the winners with Conor Ward getting their goal and Peter Loughran also on target. Michael Conroy got the Moy goal as well as a number of points with Ryan Coleman and Adam Donaghy also on target for the visitors.

 

Shea Lawn was in superb form for Moortown as they won away to Drumragh. He hit 1-8 with Karl Hagan getting their other goal with Liam Lawn and Brian McLernon scoring as well. Tommy Murphy and James Broderick got the goals for the Sarsfields with Aaron Montgomery and Paddy Colgan also supplying points.

 

It finished all square between Aghyaran and Owen Roes. Ronan McHugh once again proved to be the top marksman for the St.Davogs with his haul including a late equaliser. Ethan and Eoghan McHugh also supplied points for the hosts with Tony Devine grabbing the only goal of the game for Owen Roes with Ryan McShane and Ryan Kelly getting points.

 

Stewartstown had a good win away to Kildress. Dan Lowe got the Harps goal with Gareth Devlin, Shrea O’Neill, Stephen Talbot and Lowe scoring points. Shea Quinn top scored for the Wolfe Tones with Phillip Lennon bagging their goal and Shea Murphy also on target.

 

Fintona made home advantage count against Cookstown in the battle of last year’s Junior league and championship winners. Caolan Donnelly, Peyer McGlinn, Oran Hughes and Jared Brogan had points for the Pearses with Michael McElhatton getting the Father Rocks goal as well as a few points with Danny McElhatton, Conall Sheehy and Niall McMurray scoring as well.
