Edendork had to pull out all the stops to record a 2-13 to 2-11 win away to bottom of the table Tattyreagh on Sunday evening. The home side led 1-7 to 0-5 at the break with Brendan Armstrong getting their goal and James Darcy, Niall Murray and Conor Taggart among their points, Darren McCurry and Niall Morgan on target for the St.Malachys.
Within a minute of the restart Edendork were right back in contention when James Fearon found the net. McCurry added a point before Daire Conway got Edendork’s second goal in the 38th minute. Darcy took his personal haul to 0-8 with Johnny Harkin grabbing a goal for the hosts but McCurry, Morgan and Conway finished with a dozen points between them as the visitors just about got over the finishing line.
